Spring Cleaning

Apparently British Summer time officially starts on Sunday (according to my diary)... more light, more warmth, bikini's, ice cream, icy cider, bbq's in the park etc etc. I am beyond happy about this. When I was younger I used think that I was more of a winter person, but as I get older winter just makes me miserable! I am so fed up of being cold, or waking up to darkness (I work nights). And everyone else is in a better mood in the summer too, the world just feels much more pleasant. In the summer I feel my faith in humanity is restored!

Tickets for the London Wasps St. George's day arrived today, first Rugby match I will be going to without boyfriend. However will be going with housemate and colleague so should be a giggle. Also going to Nottingham in a couple of days for the Student Radio Conference, might be fun, and I might learn something. My housemate, who is also going with me, graduates this year and I think she would very much like to get into broadcasting.

She runs a radio show called The WHAT! of which I tend to turn up every week and banter with her. Should give it a listen it is pretty bananas and full of musical education, plus so many good tunes being played.

Apart from the fact that I have an awful cold, and need root canal surgery, I am feeling pretty good. Have done a spring clean of my room, highly recommended, continued with my scrapbook (which is ongoing since the age of 15?) and also cleaned out my lovely Hamster. Pepper. crazy little creature.

She had cancer about six months ago, and me being me agreed to have the lump removed, she looked so uncomfortable. Anyway the lump is gone, and she is totally mad but awesome. I would absolutely love to have a whole house filled with loads of animals, so much better than people, they don't answer back.

Been thinking a lot that it would be totally awesome if I could play the guitar. The people who are lucky enough to play in bands and stuff must have such an awesome time. I'd like to think that in a band, you have the most awesome of friends and obviously get to enjoy your self so much. Like the passion an artist gets when they paint, or when a dancer dances etc etc, totally jealous of those sorts of jobs that surely must give you an adrenaline rush whilst you work. I have to go to the gym to try feel empowered, it usually results in perspiration and extreme fatigue. Also I tend to go home and eat about ten times the amount I usually would! Unfortunately not everyone can feel ridiculously  enthralled about their jobs or none of the boring jobs would get done, unless someone has a real passion for accounting, but bless 'em if they do. Keep up the good work!
